Vintage Sap Buckets

These buckets were once used to collect sap from Maple trees in Vermont. 

Today the maple sugaring industry mostly uses plastic tubing to collect maple sap, so the family that we buy these sap buckets from in Vermont collected them from neighbor's old barns.  Every time we visit Vermont, we bring home more buckets and hand paint them.
