We are so grateful you are here. We're Floyd and Amy. We are the owners and makers of Willow a family-owned small business in Vermont with New Orleans roots. We take great pride in creating high quality, handmade cutting boards and serving boards, and home decor for you and your loved ones.
How Willow Came to Be
Our family shares a passion for using natural materials to create beautiful and functional items by hand. We work together to design and create each Willow product at our home workshop. We handcraft our cutting boards and serving boards to inspire gathering and sharing good food with those you love.
We love cooking and gathering with family and friends over a good meal and lots of laughter. Our products were created with this in mind, and named after our favorite Louisiana dishes.
Our Background
Floyd is a native of Louisiana and an artisan woodworker, working as a finish carpenter for over 40 years. Amy is a native Vermonter and wildlife biologist/coastal restoration project manager working for a non-profit conservation organization by day and small business owner, by night. We met 27 years ago when we were both serving as Peace Corps volunteers in Belize and have been together ever since, and married for twenty five years. Floyd won Amy's heart when he cooked her his now infamous Louisiana shrimp dish.
Our son Sam is by far our greatest joy. Although our sweet silver lab Bella Rose also has rock star status in our home. Thank goodness for Sam's young mind helping us with the board engraving. Bella is the best shop dog ever, when she isn't chasing her ball of course. It truly is a family affair.
Going on this journey together with Willow has been exciting and filled with many special moments engaging with our incredible customers and partners. It hasn’t been without its challenges, but embarking on this shared adventure has truly brought us a lot of joy.

A commitment to quality and sustainability plays a key role in our family business. Our products are made by hand with great care by us. We are dedicated to using locally-sourced and sustainable materials, whenever we can. We thoughtfully package all products with eco-friendly, recycled shipping materials.
We are passionate about our community and nature, so we strongly believe in giving back. With every purchase Willow makes a donation to one of two charities - World Central Kitchen or Woodlands Conservancy.
